Burley-Guminiak & Associates provides primarily comprehensive municipal engineering, infrastructure planning, and environmental management services that address the complex range of issues facing our clients. Our municipal clients have come to depend on our personal involvement as part of handling their projects. They recognize that we have the knowledge and experience to guide them through the complicated maze of guidelines and regulations that govern their projects and the associated day-to-day operations of same. It is our opinion that most communities do not per se have an engineering problem what they have is funding problem that requires assistance of an engineer. We specialize in assisting small rural communities with their infrastructure needs. We know that an engineering solution without a companion funding solution is NOT a solution. Why spend money on a study that will sit on a shelf.
Engineering Services
The Professional Engineers and designers at Burley-Guminiak & Associates provide site, civil (water & wastewater) planning, mechanical, electrical, and construction observation services for new construction and improvement projects. Our design staff uses: Autocad and its engineering Land Development Design Software; for the production of detailed contract drawings. We also extensively use H2O Map and Haestad’s WaterCad software for modeling our clients municipal water system projects. We use Haestad’s SewerCad and Hydrocad for our sanitary and storm water modeling. We have intimate understanding of the funding agencies that work with small rural communities.
